Streamaxia Announces v3.3: iOS 14 & Android 11 Compatibility and Android RTMP Support
We hope that everyone’s enjoying the summer and holidays.
Here at Streamaxia, we’ve just released a new version, 3.3 that delivers compatibility with iOS 14 and Android 11.
Neither iOS 14 nor Android 11 are available to download for end-users, at this time.
We also launched RTMPS support for Android, since Facebook is now forcing the usage of RTMPS.
For Android, we’ve also changed the audio encoder to AAC, from Google’s default encoder.
On our development roadmap, we’re looking to fix some minor bugs, to add keyframe and framerate options in the Android version and to add wide-angle support on iOS.
We’re actively involved in the development of the SDK and further building and improving it.
All existing clients will benefit from this update, for free.
You just need to grab the latest files from our Github and you’re ready to go!
